Old flooring came out and large-format gray marble-look porcelain went in across the great room, kitchen, hallway, and entry, with tight grout lines that run straight to the front door.
The old tan tile came out of the great room, kitchen, hallways, laundry, and primary bath. The slab was scraped and the low spots patched, then large white marble-look tile went in across the whole floor.
Same room, same doorway. The old floor came up to bare concrete around the jetted tub and shower, and the new marble-look tile runs straight from the door to the tub.
A plain two-story entry wall turned into a stacked-stone feature, set from the floor to the ceiling and wrapped around two recessed niches.
Wide-plank gray oak engineered hardwood, glued down to the slab, runs through the hallways, great room, kitchen, family room, bedrooms, closets, mudroom, and laundry as one continuous floor. The old flooring came out first and the slab was patched and prepped before a single plank went down.
The old flooring came out of a large upstairs primary bedroom with a balcony. The floor through the bath and walk-in closet was leveled, then new plank flooring went down through the bedroom and closet.
Worn carpet came off a full-height staircase. Light gray treads and clean white risers went on to match the tile below, with a stepped baseboard following the wall to the top.
The old stair covering came off down to the bare steps. New treads went on with crisp white risers to match the floor at the bottom.
